Day 1: CANNES – MOUSTIERS SAINTE MARIE (130 km)

Arrival on your own in Nice or Cannes Airport in the afternoon. You will fill the renting contract then departure for Cannes downtown.
Walk in Cannes, along the Croisette with its mythical hotels, casinos, luxury boutiques, sandy beaches, a rose garden, the Port Canto and shady gardens, Postcard Cannes under golds of the Provencal sun. Departure early afternoon to Moustiers Ste Marie, city renowned for its pottery via Grasse, famous for its perfume and ride on historic "Route Napoleon" which celebrated its bicentennial in 2015. Before arriving in Moustiers Ste Marie, the Verdon Gorges unveil their fabulous panoramas. Another highlight of the day, dinner on your own at the Bastide de Moustiers one of Alain Ducasse’s restaurants (3 times, 3 stars at the Michelin Guide) - Night at your hotel.


Day 2: MOUSTIERS SAINTE MARIE - GORDES (115 km)

Departure for the road of the lavender through the plateau of Valensole real idealized image of the lavender and Provence with its immense fields of lavender... (Blooming in the middle of June at the end of July following the season). Visit suggested a lavender distillery in the village of Valensole. After the discovery of the trade secrets of a typically Provençal flavor, you will continue your road through the magnificent Regional Natural Park of Luberon. Stop in the village of Forcalquier will be a refreshing break (Pastis Bardoin) - Another colourful afternoon, after the blue of lavender Valensole, you will discover the red / orangey ochre of the Provençal Colorado to Rustrel and Roussillon. Visit suggested of a factory of ochre and the Path of Ochre in Roussillon. Afternoon trip on a very scenic road will bring you to Gordes, one of the “most beautiful villages of France”. For the amateurs of wines, stop tasting suggested along the road to the Domain of the Citadel with the visit of his museum of the Corkscrew to Menerbes.


Day 3: GORDES / GORDES
(150 km)

An impressive day and superb roads are your program today: Vaison La Romaine (an antique roman town) then you will climb on a fantastic twisting road with marvellous landscapes and reach the top of the Mt Ventoux (1912m – 5650 feet), called “Provence’s giant” were you will find a very rare and world protected forest. Proceed to impressive “Gorges de la Nesque” and arrival in Sault village, a region of lavender, and with a tasting at a “Nougat” factory. Then in the afternoon, your road will bring you to Senanque Abbey on very scenic roads before returning to Gordes for your second night in the same hotel. 


Day 4:  GORDES – ST REMY DE PROVENCE
(45 km)

One day of discovery and magnificent roads wait for you today.
A few minutes away from Gordes you can visit the museum of the Glass and the Stained-glass window. Continuation towards Fountain of Vaucluse and its mysterious resurgence. Having crossed Durance, you enter the Regional Natural Park of Alpilles - The roads of Alpilles will lead you to one of the most beautiful villages of France: Les Baux de Provence. Village builds in the Rock where from you will have an astonishing view on Alpilles. Rich in caves, the rock of les Baux dominates inhospitable swamps and checks a passage of Alpilles. At first place of refuge, then surveillance, les Baux establishes a real eyrie always inhabited and desired. We suggest you not to miss the visit of the Career of Light. In the heart of Alpilles, the monumental Quarries of Lights 14 meters high welcome quite unique multimedia shows. Short route late in the afternoon towards St Remy de Provence, a very attractive village nested in Alpilles, in the heart of Provence. Small tour of village for its discovery. For the amateurs of painting, the green landscapes and the light will remind you Vincent van Gogh's certain paintings. Saint-Rémy possesses an exceptional cultural heritage. Situated in full heart of Alpilles, saint Rémy is a member of "bests" of Provence. His green valleys and subtly perfumed, his beautiful houses restored tastefully and his old alleys full of charm made its success.


Day 5:  ST REMY DE PROVENCE - AVIGNON
(50 km)

Les Baux de Provence still reserves you some surprises …
Visit suggested of one AOC vineyards (PROTECTED DESIGNATION OF ORIGIN) then Les Baux and the visit of an oil mill. Arrival in Avignon and accommodation in your hotel. Pedestrian visit of the heart of Avignon with the Popes' Palace (entrance fees) - Avignon invites you to share its lifestyle and its fantastic inheritance. With a world-famous Bridge by the song, a Popes' Palace, a witness of its past of Capital of the Christendom in the middle Ages, it offers a grand monumental ensemble, classified in the UNESCO world heritage.


Day 6:  AVIGNON - ST TROPEZ
(200 km)

This will be the longest road you will have, but now you’re very used to!
It is the National Road 7 which will lead you in Aix-en-Provence. After Aix-en-Provence you will follow the south hillside of the Mount Ste Victoire made world famous by Paul Cézanne's paintings and by its fields of eggs of… dinosaurs! The most important being on the municipality of Beaurecueil. You will cross the Provençal villages of Chateauneuf le Rouge, St Maximin with his royal convent and its basilica, the biggest Gothic building of the southeast of France, the third grave of the Christendom after Jerusalem and Saint Peter of Rome. Crossing the Massif des Maures and down to St Tropez World "Rendezvous" of Jet set on the Riviera! Free time to visit the famous harbor with the huge yachts and a drink at "Senequier" world famous Cafe.
We suggest a small evening stroll by the harbour.


Day 7:  ST TROPEZ – CANNES - DEPARTURE
(80 km)

Departure to the lagoon city of Port Grimaud few kilometers from St Tropez.
We suggest a stroll in the city. Return to Cannes by the coastal road along the beaches of the "French Riviera" and the Esterel Mountains. Then in late afternoon, your road will bring you to Cannes to return your vehicles at the rental station.
