Day 1: LYON / EVIAN (250 km)
Formalities for motorcycle delivery then departure toward Evian.
Welcome to this corner of paradise where charm and gastronomy await you.
Evian is famous for its thermal facilities of international renown.
Day 2: EVIAN / THONON LES BAINS / STE FOY TARENTAISE (210 km)
Departure to reach Thonon les Bains, official start of the Route des Grandes Alpes.
We begin our tour with a "quiet" journey towards Morzine, Le Grand Bornand and the Aravis pass (1486m).
Proceed to Flumet, Notre Dame de Bellecombes, the Saisies pass.
Then it twill be Beaufort, the Meraillet pass (1605m), the Cormet de Roselend (1963m) to arrive to Bourg St Maurice.
Pass by Bourg St Maurice and short ride to Sainte Foy Tarentaise.
Day 3: STE FOY DE TARENTAISE / BRIANCON (215 km)
A day at high altitudes awaits us!
We leave to the dam of Tignes then Val d'Isère and the Iseran pass.
We will continue to Bonneval sur Arc, to reach Lans Lebourg Mont Cenis.
Departure to 3 very known passes: The Telegraphe pass, Galibier The mythical pass (2646 m!) and finally The Lautaret.
Descent to Briançon and climb to a nearby ski resort.
Day 4: BRIANCON / BARCELONNETTE (170 km)
Departure to new passes in the Southern Alps, and among the most impressive.
Crossing Briançon, the City of Vauban and drive to Cervières, the Isoard Pass (2360m), Chateau Queyras and St Veran.
Free time for personal tour of this beautiful village. Then comes the "way down" towards the Combe du Queyras, Guillestre and Vars, crossing the Vars pass.
Finaly we continue towards Barcelonnette. She is the "alpine capital" of the Alpes de Haute Provence.
Day 5: BARCELONETTE / NICE (190km)
We will drive to Menton for this last day in the Alpine peaks, with still some great turns!
Departure toward the two highest passes in Europe. Le Restefond and the Bonnette passes. Then road via St Etienne de Tinee, St Martin pass and Lantosque.
We will be on our way to Venanson, La Bollene Vesubie and the Turini pass,then via some beautiful villages, we will arrive in Menton. Continuation to Nice and returning your bike at the rental center
Day 6: DEPARTURE From NICE
Morning on your own for personal visit and departure for home by plane or TGV.
